Thursday Februrary 20

Date: Thursday February 20, 2014

Time: 3:30 PM

Weather: Mid 40's with little wind and no precipitation

Surrounding Conditions:
Very little snow remains, mostly only where it was piled by scrapers
More trash was surrounding the stream than in previous days
Ground is highly saturated from snow melt

Stream Conditions:
Stream Gage reading = 17 cm
Lowest turbidity yet
Bottom fairly visible aside from deeper pools
LEWAS fairly free of debris
High moderate flow through weir and stream bank

Water is far less turbid than previous days.

A significant amount of the snow as melted, and the soils are very saturated.

Group bonding in front of a lens flare even J.J. Abrams would be proud of.

More group bonding with LEWAS in the background.
