Surrounding Conditions:
Soil is very saturated with fresh snow from an early morning dusting. Areas near the stream were fully saturated and crumbled under foot.
The snow accumulation since the morning had melted on most natural surfaces surrounding the site.

Stream Conditions:
Stream Gage Reading = 16 cm
Turbidity was minimal, with clear visibility to the bottom in most sections. Occasional leaves and other debris travelled along water level.
The water near the weir and gauge was significantly more turbid, with cloudlike swirls masking view to the streambottom near the waterfall.
